When I say objective truth, I mean the objective facts. Everything else is just narrative, and narrative is inevitably prone to subjective bias. We need to cut through the subjective narratives and focus on only the objective facts.

Re the point about Lincoln, it is just a linguistic disagreement, and I think we focus too much on language, and too little on objective facts these days.
