I hope this unfortunate episode won't stop these brilliant intellectuals from speaking out against cancel culture in the future. Frankly, we need to have a serious discussion about free speech, liberalism, and the nature of justice, one where we don't smother our disagreements in the name of 'unity', but actually make a firm stance for our respective positions.
