Personal expression includes the right to personal expression in workplaces etc. without discrimination. Health care is separate from this so it is a separate right.

Compromise would be in things like sports and certain single-sex spaces. But it would not affect the above. Which is why it would be reasonable.

I will fight for what is necessary and reasonable for trans people's wellbeing. I will not give an inch on these matters. There will be no compromise on the basic needs of trans people. But I will not be drawn into a heated culture war on pronouns and sports, for example, because these are distractions from our core needs.
