I’m sorry, I don’t trust contemporary sociology, because of its Marxist influences (it’s a fact, it’s not a conspiracy theory, look it up!)
I used ‘radical’ to mean radical rather than liberal, as in ‘radical feminism’. Liberal LGBT advocates strive for things like marriage, and they welcome societal debate. Radicals want a more ‘revolutionary’ approach.
As for the feelings of LGBT people, from what I know, they vary a lot. I try to be understanding, but I also know the fact is, some LGBT voices are less heard than others right now (see e.g. Blaire White, Andrew Sullivan) and that’s not fair.
