I think there is a lot of misunderstanding over this issue. I will write a new article soon to explain my concerns, and what I think can be done.

I totally agree that we should stand by anti-racism. But the 'critical theory' part of CRT is a major problem, something I will explain in my upcoming article. We can be anti-racist without adopting criticalism. This also has nothing to do with teaching history accurately etc, something which every liberal should support.

There is of course no CRT being taught in schools. But there is a public demand for a debate about CRT, and I think it is a fair demand. I guess dealing with the issue fairly, from beginning to end (it is indeed a long story), is the only way to adequately deal with concerns, and put the scare campaign away. This is what I will attempt to do in my upcoming article.

I believe we can deal with the issue of CRT honestly, and end up developing progressive solutions that both stand against critical theory, as well as advance racial justice. This will be addressed in my upcoming work.
