I don't oppose the study of power differentials per se. As I said, I'm OK with academic, nuanced forms of CRT. But I am very conerned about its more extreme forms, where it is used to essentially subvert liberal ideals and values.

Also, I don't accept that liberalism is inherently tied to capitalism as it exists. Liberalism is about free speech, freedom of conscience etc. which all come from freedom of religion. Therefore, freedom of religion (not capitalism) is the basis of liberalism, and anything outside of this (including specifics of the economic system) can be re-negotiated at different stages of liberalism.
