I believe the key is to completely change our approach: our message, our tone, our attitudes, our everything. The 'radical liberation' approach to trans civil rights that has taken hold since around 2015 has clearly failed, and we need to do something about it if we don't want the trans backlash to grow. Indeed, I plead with the radicals to stop playing politics and allow a 'gentler' approach so that the backlash could end. It's time to go back to the beginning, and rethink our approach. Shifting to a more 'consensus' approach, like the one we used to get gay marriage done (however hated by the radicals), is clearly needed right now.
