Firstly, I fundamentally disagree with the alt-right’s ideas, because they are collectivist (based around race as a collective group), and I’m a classical liberal individualist.

However, given that I disagree with all forms of collectivist thinking and theory, I also strongly disagree with all left-wing critical theories. While there may be a grain of truth in some of them, they ignore the bigger picture because they focus on group-based differences rather than invididual consciece, behavior and responsibility. This flies in the face of the values of Western civilization. Therefore, this I can never accept, as a classical liberal.

However, in recent years, I have repeatedly felt pressure to agree with what is essentially critical theory thinking. If you disagree, you’re labeled as anti-social justice, or even sympathetic to the far-right! This is a grave concern for me. I think part of what motivates the IDW is a similar concern. I personally will never bow down to critical theory thinking, no matter what.

p.s. Sam Harris is a leftist, and his thinking sometimes doesn’t align with classical liberalism. He does not represent classical liberal views, in my opinion.
