As someone who has been concerned about wokeism for more than half a decade now, and who is strongly opposed to postmodern critical theory, this is how I see it. Wokeism will be part of the landscape, in some form, for the foreseeable future, absent attempts at censorship (which would be illiberal). But a tribalist culture war approach is not the right way to deal with it. Instead, we need to stick to the classical liberal way. Right now, some on the Right, especially in America, are advocating an illiberal politics rooted in the culture wars, which I think is a huge mistake. (I mean, they are even cozying up to Viktor Orban!)
The Tavistock clinic had a lot of problems, and most of them weren’t caused by postmodernism. So that has to be seen as a separate issue objectively.
