1) The 99% was meant to be figurative, as in 99% vs 1%. But I think it comes close to reality too. I mean, the vast majority of trans people aren't activists and don't intend to ever be activists, no matter what their own worldview is.

2) Even though the extreme trans activists' viewpoints are often platformed by the media, it is generally confined to the politics/news part of the media (i.e. not entertainment, not sports, etc.), which many trans people don't pay too much attention to. Therefore, only a minority of trans people could have been affected by this coverage enough to change their views.

3) There might have been an increase in trans people with lower levels of dysphoria, but certainly not to the level you suggest. There remains great barriers to transition, after all, and most people wouldn't do it without good reason. Therefore, the vast majority of trans people still have high levels of dysphoria.
